I just purchased a 2012 clubman S model , flood car . I have looked on site and don't see a go to scanner. I have not picked up car yet , guessing im going to have bad modules .

 

This will help troubleshoot and we have some guys using it on here for damaged and flooded cars to bring it back to life.

Foxwell makes the software for the Schwaben ECS sells. I bought their own scan tool, the NT530 preloaded with BMW software. Ended up being $40 cheaper than Schwaben tool at the time. Has shown me alot and i can do some complicated functions like vanos adpations and resetting among other cool features. My .02

 

Definitely the Schwaben is the go to. There are other options, but not a ton. It has seriously paid for itself several times over.
