R55 - Barn door wiring ?

I am curious if the barn doors are pre wired for LED projection door lights , I noticed that there is a cut out for them .

My barn doors have lights in them. They are recessed in the cutouts.

Watching. I also wonder if there are wires if I cut those out.

Same here....my 09 S and 09 JCW both have puddle lights in both barn doors. I replaced them with LED lights. Hard to imagine they would have saved much by eliminating them....
