I'm a proud owner of a 2009 MINI Clubman and I'm looking for someone who can help me.

Is it possible to change the colour of the Visual Boost Speedometer from white to another colour? If so, is there any DIY out there?

no, it doesn't change like the mood lighting.

 

I know that. I just want to replace the white background with another colour. Jcw for instance has it is grey.

 

I would try YouTube first. But I believe I've seen some on possibly Outmotoring. I think there was more stuff like that for the first generation.

That is going to be a lot more involved. You're going to have to take it apart, desolder the LEDS (assuming that's what they are) and then solder in the color you want.

 

+^1 its going to take some work on that outer ring.
