My MINI is at the technicians. None the less, I want to begin to build my custom gauge pods and mount this weekend. I am going to make something similar to what DneprDave posted in my 2009 Clubman Repower post.

Would one of you be so kind as to tell me the actual dimensions of the tachometer housing?

I need to know the width at 3 different positions:

1. Widest point (about where the center of the pointer is)
2. width of the housing at "0 and 8"
3. width at a line equal to the top of the odometer/info readout

These dimensions would be best attained with a dial caliper.
