Would you buy it?

Im looking into getting my first mini clubman JCW. The owner said that he had a timing chain failure while driving and that its been running fine since the repair. That was 8K ago. My question is, if you look at the attached doc, would you still buy the car? It has 67K and he is selling it for 10500. He also had the water pump replaced.

Yes, I would buy it. I'm not a mechanic, but it looks like all the parts they had to replace were in the top end - no pistons for example. I have purchased three cars from Mini of Peabody, and I vouch for them, including their service department - I highly doubt that they would risk their reputation and do a poor job.

Just bought a 2009 Clubman JCW with 59,000 miles on it - what a fun car to drive....even after coming from a 2009 Clubman S.

slightly bigger turbo. But if it's a N14 motor I'd pass.

Looks like he's had the expensive repair done. I would have another mechanic check it over. But if it's a nice car it wouldn't scare me. I've been wanting to upgrade my clubman to a JCW, but can't find one without a sunroof for the right price.
