R55 New Turbo?? Need Help ASAP

New Turbo?? Need Help ASAP
2009 fjcw clubman with 117k
-installed cattless downpipe at 112k ( no problems only check engine light for O2)
- installed Alta Stage 1 tune at 116k ( car would go into limp mode in a pull 0-110 around 4th gear after pulling 16.9 psi on the Acccessport reader would bring up high pressure fuel pump code)
Today I took my car to Mini for its first time to get a check up after seeing the high pressure fuel pump so if it was bad I would get it under warranty, Car had a boost leak from Downpipe being loose as it comes off the turbo, they said that it could be the problem for the limp mode, but would cost $150 to tighten it up. I said sure if that's the problem then money well spent.... well I get another call about an hour later... The guy said they took my car for a drive and only got about 4 psi of boost and that I need a new turbo? I haven't noticed my car acting funny or being less powerful or making any noises. she still pulls hard and BOV sounds the same. The quoted me 3950 for new turbo installed. I said no way I'm a poor college student. If anything I will get the turbo rebuilt quotes around 500-800 from a few different places local. I will be taking my car to another place to have it looked at. If any of you have any ideas or have had this problem let me know, or even things to try or a place to get the turbo rebuilt.

I have a used turbo with about 30K and works perfect. Selling it for $400. Takes about 4-5 hours to install or an independents shop that knows about Mini's will a round $400 to $650. I would also get a new flexible oil feed line for $50
