Boost Gauge hook ups ?? Pro sport 60MM

I have read R56 used DSC grey wire to switch lighting from night to day but exactly were is the DSC on the clubman ? Is that really the best place to get a input for whether or not the lights are on ?

As far as I know there weren't any electrical changes from 2011 on. No matter what you'll need a solution to turn the pulse width modulated lighting control signal into a constant level for the gauge lighting. It is such a small market that I was surprised to find that someone had built a module. I looked for alternate places to tap into the lighting control wire, but when I considered the need to also source 12V and GND I concluded that the easiest solution was to get it all in one place. You could hook up your wiring quick and dirty with wire splices under the dash, I consider those things an abomination. Up to you.

OK I got my gauge and see it uses basically a MAP sensor to convert boost to electrical signal, so I can either mount that module under the hood and just run wires into car or run the vacuum/boost line into the car and mount the MAP sender inside.

Not sure which way now, If I can find a switched 12V under the hood I can just run the signal wire into the car as the sender needs 12v ground and has a single wire out. The gauge harness is only about 2 feet long so have to make a junction point somewhere.
