R55 DIY Resonator Delete?

DIY Resonator Delete?

Anyone have or can give me a link for a do it yourself resonator delete?

I think my only useful advice is, it's not worth it as a diy if you have to ask. Go into muffler shop, have them chop it out and put in a pipe. Cost me $40, was out in 20 minutes sounding SWEET!

If you can weld... well you wouldn't be asking about the diy procedure Would still be a pain to weld that without a hoist.

Do you have any pics of the resonator delete?

I had mine done for $40 also in Phoenix, Arizona. I watched the muffler guy do mine. He used a mirror to weld the top and it did not look like it was fun. He then spent about 15 minutes inspecting it to make sure he was satisfied with his work. It's well worth $40. Pictures won't really show you anything. It's just a piece of pipe welded at both ends. Tell them to cut it so that THEY can put back in later on.
