Would love to hear experiences of previous R55 fans... but that went, or also own, an X1... I'm getting tempted to go there... although the MINI-ness is what still keeps me in my awesome R55... it's either patience and the new clubbie when it comes out... or X1... (Q3?)

 

I've test driven the X1 twice and love it. Handles very well and is fun to drive. Im seriously considering it as my next after my 09 Justa.

 

I wouldn't give up my cars for an X1 ( have an fJCW R58 ) BUT I got my wife an X1 last year for Xmas ( 2.8 premium cold and nav ) . ( it just had its first birthday ) and we love it. She loves it for her daily commute and we take it when we have lots of stuff or people. I enjoy driving it. It's very comfortable and powerful enough for what it is. She had an X3 prior but the new one was too much $$.

BTW, I have now read up and the X1 is getting a new platform late next year, so I'm definitely at this point going to pick all this up as a new clubbie vs new x1...
