R55 Sport Mode?

still not buying it ... my dad has an all4 with auto ... I borrowed it to try out the auto and paddle shifters in sport/manual mode ... a 75 mile blast on the back roads, 4000+ rpm in 3rd and 4th the whole time ... no tranny overheat ... cruising on the interstate at 75+ mph in 5th on a 98F day to keep the rpm up so the A/C works better ... no tranny overheat ... there is an underlying problem that is causing the problem

I still say there is an underlying problem ... it could be incorrect trans fluid level ... it could be another defect in the trans but it is not a normal condition to overheat the trans by running 5th gear at any speed up to the governed top speed of about 130 mph
