How do I program my 3 button key?
I bought a used 2010 Clubman S in December. Bought a 2nd fob (1st fob is 3-button with the courtesy access) off Craig's List that's brand new but my guess is it was programmed to the car the seller sold.
Question is, how do I program this 2nd key without forking over $120 to the dealer (1.5 hrs away) and without messing up the 1st fob (rumors I've read claim if you try to program the 2nd one improperly, the 1st one won't work). I'm scared to try it but I also don't want to be traveling without a 2nd ignition key...just in case.
I'd love some step-by=step instructions if anyone has them, please?
