JCW tuning kit

Hi All,
I have a 2009 S that I absolutely love. I added the JCW intake and am going to add the FJCW exhaust. I like the sound and growl for the price. My question is, instead of adding the MINI tuning from the dealer ($2000 in Canada), should I just get an after market tune instead? I have over 70K miles on the clock, so warranty isn't an issue.

Anyone do this yet?

Thanks

Yeah, I have an 09 with 68K and using accessport. You can start with Accessport (they come up for sale here all the time and it is plug and play) and then, when you get bored, you can get a custom tune from Battle (vendor on this forum).

No reason not to go aftermarket that I can see.

Lotsa choices and far less costly.

I'm a *very* satisfied owner of a MCS with the JCW Tuning Kit (136 standing mile, 38mpg on my highway commute) but I had it installed at delivery (and wanting no warranty hassles). If you have the intake and exhaust already, then...not such a great value.
