Lucky to get the dealer to cover it, even the $1000 was a great deal. If I were paying for it myself, I'd upgrade. Especially since I'm planning on doing some modifications to increase the power and torque. From what I've observed on this site it's common to upgrade the car then remove the parts to sell privately before trading or selling. Might be the case with the previous owner! The clutch is definitely designed for the stock horsepower. Just my 2 cents.

 

Our 2010 S has 110k with original clutch and it is solid!
