So when I start my Mini on i get 1/2014 and "service" light on.

Does this mean I have to go service my vehicle?
Do you guys go to the Official Dealer for this? Or can I go different place?
Do I have to go?
Assume I have no problem with the vehicle... How much do dealers charge for the service?

How many miles on the car? Find out how to scroll thru the on board computer to learn what is needed. Read your owners manual on scheduled maintenance. It does not look like anything has failed, it looks like regular maintenance is needed.

You need to read your manual on how to access the menu that will show you which service is due. Depending on what it is, you may decide to reset the service indicator yourself. Otherwise, you'll either need to take it somewhere to have it reset or live with it.
