2013: Can I display the time/temp instead of speed?

Possibly a dumb question, but I couldn't find it in the manual.

Traded in my '09 convertible for a '13 Clubman. In the convertible, in the display area on the tachometer (the square screen, not the one with the odometer in it), I had it set to display the time and temperature always. But I do remember it originally displayed the speed. I don't remember how I switched it.

Can I accomplish this in the '13 (which has the speed there now)? If so, how? Or did this feature change?

Thanks!

Hit the button on the turn signal arm. That should change through multiple screens. Time, temp, speed, gas, mpg, etc. I hope this helps or is explaining the correct function. Congrats on the upgrade. What color did you get?

Thanks. It's pepper white, black roof.

I know I can scroll through the functions in the bottom, rectangular display. I'd like to switch up what shows in the upper, square display.

I found a photo of my convertible display that shows what I'd like. In the box marked "This one", you see the time and temp. That displayed all the time. The box marked "not this one" is the one I know how to cycle through.

In the new car, the only thing that shows up in the "This one" box is the speed. I'd like to switch it to the time/temp.

Hope this is more clear. Thanks again.

Yes you can change it but it requires a special cable and some programming. Look for NCSExpert and you will be able to find out how to change it along with many other cool features.

As just mentioned, NCS Expert is the only way to fix this. The 2011+ cars got some different coding that kept the speedo up all of the time and even newer 2013s lost the availability to show as much info in the screen...not sure why.
