wider over fenders.

Hello. i have bought me a set of bbs rs 17x8 inch with only one inch lips. thefore i want to change em to 1,5" and 2" in rear.

But the problem. when i add bigger lips i will get an 9" wide wheel with an et of 22.

So i need to widen my fenders to ride legal here in norway.

The question is. is the fenders of the r56 front and rear same as a clubman or do our clubbies have different?

if found these who fit r56 coupe but cant know if they will fit..

Front fenders and black plastic flares are the same on R55/56. The rears quarters are a bit different and so are the flares. 9 is a lot for the back. I'd be more worried that the metal panel doesn't get even close over bumps. Have someone who widens fenders check to see if you can have the rear fenders blown out with a torch. If he can push them out you will more than likely have to refinish the quarters because of the stretch usually cracks paint. If you can push out the metal you can keep your stock plastic flares. Seems like a tough job. The fronts should be much easier to work with. That's why you usually don't see any MINIs with big lips on em. Good luck though, would love to see it work out.

You might rub the trailing arm in the rear with a 9" rim also. Good luck though
