2008 clubman with bsh catch can

Having an issue. I went to empty the catch can and was surprised to find brown liquid instead of the oil sludge I was expecting. Is that normal?

What you are seeing is what is usually burned off thru the throttle body, thus making it dirty. The brown liquid is a mixture of oil and Gas. Yes, very normal.
