Within the past two weeks, MR CHOW has received a new clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder; new spark plugs; oil change; brake fluid flush; thermostat housing and coolant swap; tyres (Conti ExtremeContact DWS NONrunflats!!); and PCV hose (to fix a vacuum leak).
He's now driving better at 53K miles than the day I got him at 40K miles, but MAN my wallet is well-worn!!

Yikes, I'd say hes high maintenance, but not spoiled....spoiled would be an oil change every 2000 miles, detailed every week, and nothing but Shell 93+ 
....anyhow, just enjoy your "new" Mr Chow and dont think about the light wallet....
