Help!!!

This car is going to be the death if me soon... Just got in it drove half a mile before close gas cap warming popped on my screen, yellow check engine light also came on gas cap is tight light is still on... What do I do?

This happened to me. Last time you installed the gas cap, it wasn't sealed 100%, the fuel system works off pressurization. If you haven't driven too far, you can re-install the gas cap and drive for a few miles to see if the light goes out. If it does not you'll have to go to the dealer to have the system reset, takes about 15 mins.

FYI, I wasn't aware of the system and continued to drive, my car ran like crap until I finally went to dealership.

The wife's did that and it turned out to be an emissions related valve (IIRC) that was replaced under warranty. It was not the gas cap being loose.
