So in all likelihood I'll be picking up a used Clubman S Saturday. I have a Yakima Control Tower set up I had for my Mazdaspeed3. I know the control tower system won't work with a Clubman unless I want to drill into the roof, which I would prefer not to do. I'm looking at getting a OEM rack, but I am concerned that my current bike racks won't work. They are copperhead racks that hold the bikes by the fork.

Am I correct to think that they won't work?

 

The mounting points for the bike rack will not fit around the OEM rack. Does the Clubman have roof rails? If so, you could try and get your hands on some yakima low riders, they mount right on to the roof rails and you can use your current round bars. They don't make the low riders anymore, so you would have to look on ebay and what not. Or, you could try these mounting brackets... MightyMounts

 

That's what I thought from pictures. Unfortunately it doesn't have roof rails. Also, mighty mounts won't work with fork mounted bike racks. Guess I'll just sell my set up and buy a OEM mini one.
