I really like the look of the rally lights on all mini's. So I bought the Hella 500's and a set of mounting brackets from Outmotoring. After taking the bumper off, (twice due to lack of time), I got the brackets mounted and the lights installed. I had to cut the bottom grill because that is the way the brackets are mounted. Thankfully I did not wire the lights because I don't like them. I asked my wife if she likes them and she is thumbs down as well. Since it is her car, I will taking them off. I may go with the VIP bracket but I am not convinced by looking at their website. If someone has the VIP bracket on their clubman I'd like to see it.

My question is, what are my options besides getting the factory grill? I have been looking but thought I'd throw it out to y'all. I wouldn't mind changing both grills but I want something rally or racing inspired, not bling style.

Simple sturdy brackets, easy to install.



Uses this bolt at the top and the one just below it. One below it would have been easier with a ratchet style box end wrench due to room there and swinging angle. No room for socket set.
