will this fit?

I am looking to add turbo guage.
http://www.customcarscentral.com/ati...tm_medium=free

I see this and while it does not state R55 (2008-2010) I am wondering why it wouldn't..

Any thoughts are most appreciative.

It should fit. The R55 is identical to the R56 from the 'B pillars' forward.

You might also consider a gauge [package] supplied by Marshall. These seem to match the OEM gauge styling a bit better than that ATI offering; and being column-mounted, the Marshall gauges probably provide better visibility than one mounted inside a HVAC vent, no matter where you position your steering wheel. And ultimately, the gauge wiring is all going to lead to the same place -- which isn't going to be inside the HVAC vent...

thanks very much

That was my understanding about fitment as well.

I like those gauges you recommended. I am just having a hard time with the full kit $475 when the gauge I want is $94. The other gauges gve good info but admitedly the boost gauge is just for fun (most turbos have a gauge - heck a late 80's Pontiac Sunbird had one.

I may mount the Marshall gauge inside the vent .

Thanks for your advice,

Grady

Just curious, why not get the JCW gauges? you get to choose two of three different gauges (boost, temperature, and lateral G's) for $254 and its from MINI. That's in between the $94 and $475 listed above.

That's not a bad suggestion either. My main reasons for preferring the Marshall gauge set to the JCW gauge set are:
  • You can get up to four gauges with the Marshall set; and
  • The parameter selection (i.e., what can be presented on a gauge) is a bit wider, which allows me to have oil pressure and battery volts presented in my gauge cluster; to me, lateral G's are useless with regard to the operation of the vehicle
