Last Free Service!

Next week Bubba will have his 3rd birthday! So I treated him to a "Spa Day" at the MINI service department!
He got his rear pads changed (no rotors!), and had the oil changed! All at no cost.
Now Bubba can go into his older years ( years 4 +) with all brakes done and oil changed - I hope he feels great!

I have really enjoyed Bubba in the last three years - especially after I got the "Rockflats" off! He has little to no issues, and runs great on the roads. He had a small run-in with an over friendly deer, but no worse for the meeting ($3,000 repair)...

While at the MINI dealer I eased around the front of the building out of Bubba's sight and looked at the CM. I wasn't impressed, especially at the driving position - too high!

Bubba has 33,500 miles and he is doing a fine job!

Wow, what a coincidence!! I just picked up Monty, my 2008 Laser Blue Clubman S, from Braman Mini. He was in for his 30k/3year maintenance - the last one on Mini's nickel. And he, too, had his rear pads replaced. He also got some brand spankin' new wiper blades fore and aft. Had to replace a cupholder trim piece, too.

This is the nicest car I've ever owned and I am thoroughly enjoying the ride. The handling is incredible! Now, if he only had 50 more HP, he'd be *perfect*...

While our mini was in for service I too drove a CM (auto) and felt like I was sitting on a milk crate driving a civic. Told the wife to drive the manual and she agreed, no slushbox for us.

I also tried the cm (manual) before getting my clubman and was not impressed.

How did you manage to burn through rear brakes in only 33k miles? I just changed the rear brakes on our justa at 60k and they had a good bit left!
