Nasty Habit

I've got a nasty habit; I push (kick) the driver's door open with my foot as I exit. As a result, after having my brand-new MINI less than a month, there is a tear on the vinyl(?) door liner near the very bottom. I swear that part of the door was hard plastic on my Lexus.

Black gaffers tape is on option, but does anybody make anything stylish to protect that vulnerable area of the door? I've looked and can't find anything.

Thanks gang!

So long as it isn't a huge gash, a leather/vinyl repair kit should work.

If you haven't used a vinyl repair kit before, practice first, some kits take longer to cure than others.

Just a stock pict for reference...not a promotion.
