Hello all,

As a new Clubman owner, I've heard from a couple of other MINI owners that I need to purchase and install the M7 strut reinforcement plates to prevent mushrooming on the strut tower. I don't doubt the advice but wanted to get some more insight from some fellow Clubman owners.

What are your thoughts on these plates?

Do you have these plates on your Clubman?

Anything else I need to know?

Although they can not hurt the real "Mushrooming" problem was on the 1 gen cars they really needed the plates. 2 gen cars do not have this issue so they are not really needed.
