Metal grinding sound!

Just got back from local Mini service for yearly service. When I took in the car, I told them that I have some kinda metal grinding sound coming from the front wheel. I only hear it when the car is sitting in the traffic when the car gets enough momentum to go in the 1st gear.

The Mini service told me that the sound is from the Cat converter expanding. Noise to be normal after the car is warmed up.

For some reason, I don’t think it was the case. Most of time I heard this noise, the car is always warmed up. Just heard it again after I took the car back from Mini.

Does anyone have similar noise coming from the front wheel?? If so, what is the problem?

The service told me that they checked the barring, and it's not the barring. It does sound like grabbing the brakes. But my foot is off the brake.....
