Plugged drain?

Is this supposed to be a drain hole on our 2008 Clubman? Please see attached thumbnail. If it is, it has been plugged since day one. Water pools in this area after every wash, rainstorm, etc. We have the car in for service today for other things, so if it is indeed a drain I'll have them unplug it while it's there.

Thanks!
Will

Mine was plugged too. I just stuck the water-hose on it last wash, and it's drained ever since. Least last time I washed it legally.

It is only about 1/2" deep mine gets filled with dirt/leaves/yuck every once in a while and i just use the hose or a small stick, screw driver etc to clean it out. It only drains into the battery area. and then drains out thru other holes in the base of the battery compartment.

I tried cleaning mine out with the hose, but something was still stuck. Used tweezers, gave it a pluck, all better.

Mine is plugged, and I've tried to clear it. I'll try tweezers. It always fills with water.
