My Sweet Dagny
So - I've had her about 2 months. Delivery was March 12th. She has stolen my heart. She's a dark silver S clubby with light silver top. Packages include convenience, sport, cold weather, and premium. Windows have 35% tint.
I'd only test driven a mini one other time...so just buying her and having her delivered to my front door was a little risky for me.....but I LOVE HER!
So...since I've had Dagney....I've won the lottery, I signed a contract to play lead in a major motion film opposite Jude Law, I rescued 23 people from a burning building, and I won American Idol AND Dancing with the Stars.
But, seriously - I had NO idea how much fun driving could be. I look for every excuse to just go sit in her. And, it's just like you read in these posts - random people come up to me wanting to look at her. Came out of the gas-station the other morning and she was surrounded by 5-6 construction workers. I figured they were making fun of her and was about to taser them all - but they were genuine admirers. A different gentleman ran me down at the same place and had all kinds of questions about her. I've had notes left on her from the regional mini club people. I've only see one other clubby in the area (Iowa City, Iowa).
The adventure kit was a nice surprise too. Mine came with a magic 8 ball. I LOVE the window stickers and she currently has "Super Cooper" on the back window. I've seen a mini sticker that says "please, no flash photography!" - but I can't remember where I saw it and wished I would have purchased it.
Oh and the STARING....People just pull up beside me and loook...and looook!
Anyway - I just wanted to post on her that I've never been happier with a vehicle. I never understood hearing men go ON and ON about cars...well, now I do. She is an addiction. My daughter loves riding in her - she's 6.
The heated seats feel GREAT on my legs after a long run - I can't wait to try those out next winter when it's REALLY cold.
Dagny has been a great addition to our family. She's named after one of the main characters in Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged".
So, there's my story. I will try to post some pics of her at some point.
