Possessed key

Got my 08 Clubbie in October.
One of my key fobs is possessed. It works fine to run the car, but when I use it to try and lock the car, it rolls all the windows down and opens the sunroof - all very quickly and completely after just one quick push. I've tried unlocking the car to see what that does, and it works as expected. Unlocking the back door with that fob results in nothing.
I did get caught in a torrential downpour a few days before this started happening.
Any ideas?

my car does that (roll down of the windows), but only if I hold the unlock buttons for a few seconds. Only one click, it only unlocks the driver door. Twice, and all doors get unlock.

Service is 3.5 hr away.
Used to work when I held down the door open button for a few seconds the windows would eventually roll down.
this effect is immediate and complete, push the button and the windows and sunroof open completely immediately.
Glad I have another key.

If just the one key does this, and the other one works fine then it would be a problem with the key and not the car.

This part would make me think that the key might of gotten wet too. I would use the other key for a few days and let the other one set to dry out any water that might be in there. I would try this before calling the service department about it. Who know it might dry out and start working correctly. Plus if they find water in it I highly doubt that they would replace it under warranty, and those keys are expensive to replace

Probably just a wet key. But letting it dry out may not correct the problem if there has been any corrosion.

Let it dry out for a week or more and then try it again. if you still have the problem call the service department and ask them if you can get it replace over by sending in that one and having them send you a new one. That may be cheaper than drivin a long distance but definately not as fun. If they are a good dealership then they should do that for you. The only problem that may occur is tha tthe dealer has to do an initial programing on teh key to get it to work with your car and if that is the case then you will have to drvie to get a new one.

As for the price if you have to pay for it. They start at around $285.00 and go up from there depending on the dealership.
