Aluminum pedal covers?

Anyone have these installed on their Mini?

Are they slippery when wet? Or in the winter, with a little snow under your boots?

Can't vouch for those exact pads, but the ones I had on a Camaro were kinda slippery. Not to mention thin soled shoes made the drive a bit uncomfortable. I personally won't put another set on anything I own.
