Dealer and R56 gauges

I was wondering, can the dealer install R56 gauges in a Clubman? I don't have the tools or expertise to put in aftermarket gauges. It really frustrates me that the R56 has the temperature gauge but the Clubman doesn't. My last two cars had overheating problems and I do NOT consider that "optional" information.
Why do car makers keep deleting important stuff from dashboards more often these days? One guy I know bought a new Mustang and was shocked that he had the same dials: only fuel, RPM and MPH. I am not going to be happy if a warning light goes on saying that my engine is overheating when I'm stuck in rush-hour traffic! In my state, rush-hour traffic is E X T R E M E L Y B A D. They average one car accident every other week. That's how bad they are!

As for rush hour traffic, if they only have one accident every other week then you should come live here (Boston area) where it's like Every Other Day (if even that far between them) there is an accident that clogs up the roads.

Unless maybe you mean aftermarket gauges designed for the R56, like the Alta gauges?

Here we don't even need accidents!

If I remember correctly, the light in the R56 is a two stage one- yellow for a warning and red for overheating.

Yeah... no gauges in my R56. :(

I'm planning on adding some aftermarket ones. I don't like the look of the Alta pods, but the Craven one with Autometer (I can't remember the series right now, but there's one that's a good match for the faces in the MINI) boost and temp gauges looks like it'll work good for me.
