One dealer is about an hour away, the other (where I got my Lady G) is about 2.5 hrs away.

I'm not too worried about it, I know if it's something major I'll get a loaner. The other dealer that is a little closer might do my warranty work. We'll cross that bridge when I get to it!

Our primary dealer is about 10 miles away. There's another about 25 miles away, but they are terrible and not an option except in dire emergencies.

We've had our dealer offer to pick up/drop off our car, but I'm not sure if they offer that to folks that come from great distances.

My dealer is 300 miles away-about a three hour drive. Hopefully I will have to go only once a year.

2 hours each way, but a soon to open dealership in-town.

My present dealer has always offered loaners to us. Call first and schedule an appt.

Ferman MINI ,Palm Harbor - 25 minutes away and they usually have bagels/coffee there if you get in early. They also have wifi if I need to do some work.

My dealership has an xbox that is usually playing Spiderman I/II etc so if I were to be stuck w/kids it wouldn't be a huge issue (mine are 3 and 6).

As for oil changes - if it's a hassle to go to the dealership just get them done locally. MINI can't deny warranty for any work not done in their dealership as long as it adheres to their specs (for oil and fluids) and schedule.

The nearest dealer to me (100 miles) has valet service within 150 miles. That said I bought mine at one of the sponsors which is 230 miles away (in a different state).

They do it for people who bought from them. I bought mine last July though and don't know if they still have that policy. I don't know about owners who didn't buy there.

My dealer is 160 miles - 3 hours away.
Because I live more than 100 miles away, if it breaks down or the engine light comes on, they'll tow it down AND back.

I had no idea that there are so few dealers in the US, what around 82? I was complaining to my wife about our 20 minute drive to ours. I guess we are lucky. By the way, our dealer also has the valet service option. They will pick our car up in our driveway. I would like that job, spending the days driving MINIs

Our dealership is in North Scottsdale and it's a good 120 mile drive are 2hrs. We just plan a day in "the city" and to reward the mini we take the more, ah! Fun way home! 3 1/2 hours and more twist and turns then the back of a crocodile( Nile ) They offer a rental through Hertz for 5.89 per day! If we are going to be in "Vegas", we travel back and forth every week, that's 354 miles away, one way l think my Mini likes that trip better as he gets to see all the cars in the rear veiw mirror and when you leave Kingman for the shot to Vegas it's a long streight road that gets some sweet exotics letting lose. l've we've tried to keep pace, but wow!! We'll be maxing out at 105-110 mph and they start to leave use and don't look back Those Italian's and German's aren't very nice!!

yes.. dealers are far and few between!! I am not feeling so bad after reading some other distances!! Ours is about 80 miles away.. and takes a good 1½ hours 1 way. I hope that it will be a deterrent to others!! I like the idea that my car is different!!

For the oil change - either my husband will have to do it, or I'll bring it to a local BMW shop and have them do it.

We are a little over an hour away (about 37 miles but a fair amount of traffic) from our dealer and we have 2 other dealerships that are each about the same distance, but in slightly different directions. We went with the one who had good reports here and with the MA that seemed to be the most helpful/knowledgeable. It would be a hassle if it needed frequent service, but I am confident that we won't be going that often.

My dealer is 14 days away by boat. I live in North Carolina, and the dealer I bought from is in Mildenhall UK. But I will have it serviced in Winston-Salem
, NC once it gets here.

THe dealership where I am purchasing my Clubman is 200 miles away (Pittsburgh). Towson and Otto's are closer, so we'll see...

My dealer (N.Scottsdale) is 27 miles away and they do provide a loaner upon request but they said it "probably won't be a Mini" oh well. Once a year I guess I can drive a (glulp) "regular" car.

35 miles one way for me ... they are really good with loaners. MINI's and BMW's a plenty ...

Honestly I admire the ones that have dealers 150-300 miles away ... that's dedication! Not sure if I would be in this car if the dealer was so far away.

I have half an hour to an hour depending on if I am at work or home and the dealer is in another state. Otto's have given my friends loaners before when they dropped off for service so I expect as long as you go to the dealer you bought it from you can get a loaner.

My dealer is over 2,000 miles away so I don't have the option of taking my mini in for any dealer services. Right now my yellow engine light is on and not sure what to do.

The closest dealer is 15 miles away Bob Smith 5k over MSRP for Clubman. We are purchasing our vehicle in Las Vegas for MSRP and it will be a 300 mile trip back home. But it will be fun drive.....
