Okay, I shut off DSC while I was stuck in traffic on a hill today. The hill-hold feature still worked. So even though it may be part of DSC, it can't be turned off... not that anyone would want to turn it off.

Someone loan me a hill so I can try out the brake delay feature!
We're short on hills in North Texas.

I guess it works differently on the Clubman than the Cooper. On my MCS, I would have no hill assist once the DSC is defeated. BTW, hill assist will work in reverse as well; i.e. if you're backing up on a slope, the hill assist will prevent your car from rolling forward during the first 3 seconds after you release the brake.

Well, I should retract my previous statement; I found out that even with the DSC defeated, the hill-assist still works.

OK One more Cool Feature......
I just became aware that if you release the Steering column lever the Steering column not only raises and lowers, it telescopes in/out also.
Way cool feature.

He is always one up..now its all about his motorcycle..no time for even looking at the mini.

Ask your buddy how his motorcycle handles in 5 inches of snow.

something else. If your rear wipers are on (intermitent), they go to "full-on" while you back up the car.
