Anyone with a CR Clubman S wanna trade me your clear/white third brake light for my red third brake light to match your body color a bit better? Only cost would be shipping and 15-20 minutes of simple labor

Here's our Chili *****

We're loving out Chili Red and Silver. The best part is the 6500 RPM since we broke it in and still getting 30mpg around town in Tucson!!

Very nice, Bob - I think it might be the first silvered CR that I've seen, too. Congrats!

We picked Silver because we thought it might be cooler here in Tucson. It also made it brighter so its easier to see by the big 4x4's in our neck of the desert.

I am hopping that one of you guys, who has more computer sense that I do is keeping track of all the CR clubmans we have seen in the last two pages. Alot of these cars look really good, and it will be nice to know who I am waving and flashing my litesat If I ever meet any of you on the road, which I hope happens very often.

Larry
Looks like the Pepper White guys started an "official" thread with all the members listed in the first post.

Is this kind of what you're talking about Larry?

No doubt Larry, no doubt!

BTW - how are you liking your new driving lights? And how's the ride on the 18" wheels?

Check engine light...

New Clubman...it's called Little Red (The ZHP is Big Red). And the "check engine light" came on right on schedule at 500 miles...then went out after 2 days. Huh?

Bentyyc,
The hella's are great, I am still figuring out if I like the 18's. I may go with non runflats on the replacements, I carry a spare. I have 4000miles on the car now, it drives alot smoother than my MCS did on 17's. I guess what I am trying to say is that time will tell.
Have a great weekend,
Larry

Larry - thanks for the reply!

HollyRoss - Nice! You've reinforced my love for the CR/B combo!!

My dealership Emailed my this morning to say that my Clubman is "in production, and almost finished being built". MINI Canada doesn't offer any tracking tools, so this is the best info I've got.

Now the wait to make it across the pond. Argh!

Is it me, or is the time actually going by slower now...?

Hollyross, thanks for the pics. I have the same color combo/wheels as you do. I am (impatiently) waiting for mine to arrive at the dealer, hoping for the 1-2 week of July.

Just got another update - mine is now built and awaiting transport across the pond. Then a train ride across the country, and man, it's a wide country...

Why is waiting so painful?

My wife and I took the kids along for a test drive today. We've driven the car before, but never with the kids. Well a seven year old and four year old fit just fine in the back, with room to grow.

Then at the end of the test drive, our "brand specialist" (that's MINI Advisor in Canadian) gave each of our kids a MINI bulldog! That was just icing on the cake.

Mine is now somewhere in the North Atlantic, on board the "Elektra". Scheduled to arrive in Halifax July 8th or 9th. Then a train ride west...

Anyone here have a CR with body roof top and black C-pillars? I have yet to see one on this forum, but having seen CR/CR Mini Coopers, I think this would make a great combination... if so, please post pics!

I have the body color roof w/ black C-pillars. She just arrived at the VDC in Cali so I won't be receiving it for a bit. Once I do I'll post some pics.
