Great PW/PW Clubman, how stiff is the sport package?

Not as stiff as on the R56 (due to the longer wheelbase), but it's alot better now with the Cross coilovers on it (thanks again Jan/RMW). The coils allow me to get rid of that hideous wheelgap and still ride & handle like buttah. The car is far more settled on harsh bumps. Waylen nailed the setup as far as my wife is concerned.

Coils+larger Sport suspension sways=Sweet ride and handling.

How much did you lower the Clubman?

 

Not enough for my tastes, but since the wife drives it daily I gotta make a few sacrifices. I have no idea of the amount of drop TBH.

 

I totally understand. My wife keeps a tight rein on what I do with my car. Fortunately, she slipped and told me that I am able to make mods, so I'm thinking about things I want done after I get the car.

 

Trust me, I do what I want. I just gotta keep it within her comfort level so she's not scared to drive it.

Thus far she's pretty happy. Lot's more to do though. More mods coming soon.

may have seen what I needed? nah. keep 'em coming. thanks Mini Fireman, azminiman. I have to say that seeing your clubbies makes my already long wait seem even longer but they also help erase any possible doubt regarding my decision to go PW/PW.

 

Mini Fireman and Azminiman, are the windows stock or tinted? If tinted, how much? I need to decide what to do if mine ever arrives.

 

Mini are tinted.. limo on the back and sides.. just below legal on the doors.. which is i think 35%

 

I just received my production number for my PW/PW Cooper Clubman today. I wonder if I'll be as obsessed tracking each and every step as I was the first time around.

 

30% tint front two windows and 20% on the back three.

 

It's not a clubman, but you get the idea. I like the sleeper approach.

Well, I'll be in this club whenever that car rolls off the line. I had pw/w as an 06 mcs...now will have same, just streeeeeetched.

Love the look of your build! My wife voted for silver webspokes like our first MINI but we were almost there. Tint looks great. Anyone seen pw/w with the spoiler?
