dealer pricing?

I have built my Clubman S online many times. I have added accessories also. I think I have what I would like to oder from a dealer. How close are the dealers with the pricing shown online? Also what is the wait time on ordering a mini?

Thanks

MINI sells at MSRP pretty much everywhere.
Some dealers will throw in certain freebies such as floormats or the like, but don't expect any discounts off the sticker price.

I paid MSRP; was told that franchises have agreement with corporate not to sell below MSRP on current year models. Did get some dealer freebies though.

Don't forget to add tax/title costs

I paid the number on the configuration page, no floormat discounts for me.

I configured and asked my MA how close would I pay to the price shown, and he told me it was the same. So when it is all typed up, you pay that plus the TT&L, any dealer man hours for anything extra, and that's about it.

I am not concerned about a discount.

I am more concerned about them inflating the price. Charging more than what is at miniusa.com.

Zeus - where do you live? Some CA dealers are adding markups and required additional equipment, but everyone else on these forums seems to be paying MSRP. I paid MSRP on Long Island, no additional delivery fees of any kind other than a $45 fee to process my title / registration, which is the maximum dealer fee allowed under NYS law for that service. My total was about $115 more than MSRP including the $45 doc fee, a $12.50 tire disposal fee, and about $57 for the NYSDMV registration charge. Plus NYS tax, of course! Other than some MINI promotional swag (keychain, visor CD holder, English slang dictionary, MINI patch) the dealer offered no freebies. Still, it was a straight-up deal, with no surprises. Habberstad MINI, Huntington, LI.

I am in NW Ohio. I have not been to a dealer yet, just still looking and studying online. I want to make sure it is the right car for my needs.

You have Classic MINI in Ohio (NAM sponsor) you can shop online and order with them, strict MSRP not a penny more. I believe they also ship nationwide for free.I ordered the car in mid-december and took delivery Feb 27th. 9 week wait from order to delivery. Paid MSRP and got about $1,000 worth of frebbies. But then again this is my 4th new MINI purchase from the same dealer since 2002. No deposit either due to my status of repeat customer.

Never pay more than MSRP, but don't expect to pay less (what everyone else said)
