Anyone think a BRGII Clubman would look good with brown mirror caps? (black roof)
I am thinking it just might look spiffy.
Thanks for your opinions.

No. Probably not brown on a green car, and definitely not with a black roof.
Of course, you're completely at liberty to ignore me - that's just my opinion.

I've been using the forum off an on since purchasing my 09 BRG MCCS in July of '09, but never got around to posting in this thread. This week my dealer tried to woo me away to another color, claiming that used MINIs were bringing big bucks (and he couldn't find another BRG). I stayed true. No Laser Blue for me.

Gloss black headlight rings!

Could not find ONE BRG with black headlight rings on here. Closest I got was one with body matched vinyl wrapped on them. I was nervous, but I think it came out good. Not good pictures; I just ran out and took em during work, ha! Let me know what you all think : )

That's what I figured, but you never know. I don't have her yet as she's still on the boat, but once she's on dry land, I'll post up some pics.

How did you paint the brake cool air intakes? Is the shiny plastic section removable? (If so, how?)

Yes. You'll need to remove the front bumper, then the brake dust vents (most parts held together with clips) - that's how my painters did it.

All parts removal (with caution), and painted by pro paint shop...

For brake air vent, removal of front bumper necessary.

Thanks. Wow - they make that pretty hard, don't they?! Even though yours look really great, I think mine will be staying black - not really into pulling bumpers off!
Thanks again though.

Graphite interior with carbon black leatherette sport seats (gonna put Wet Okoles on them anyways). Custom built after my test drive on 27 July, order went in August 3rd, maddening wait during the production shutdown in August, arrived at the dealer noon yesterday! Spent the morning "setting-up" everything from the satellite to where I want to keep my sunglasses. Can't wait to drive it around today with the family!
