A friend of mine was at the Scottsdale dealership and says she saw a "longer Mini". She has an R53 so she knows what she's talking about. Could it have been a dealer demo there already? She thought it might be.

 

They won't be released to the dealers until february. If they do have one, I want to know how!!

 

I think I saw a Clubman today in Phoenix on 48th St. near Baseline. It was red, but I don't remember the roof color. It was definitely a 2007 or later, as the "walleyed" headlights and beefy profile plainly gave that away. Undeniably, it was long! As I saw it mostly from the side from about 150 feet away as it was moving, I couldn't tell if it was an S or not, but I think it wasn't. From where I was, the 3rd door wasn't distinctly visible. Also, as it was obscured by traffic, I couldn't see the barn doors. I'm definitely keeping my mind open to the possibility that someone around here stretched one, but it did look pretty "right," from what I saw, as it appeared to me to have the higher-profile roof. I'm very sure that it was new, long and red, but that's all I could see really well.
