I saw the Clubman D on one of the Mini sites.
I think (if converted correctly) it averaged 53 MPG.
9.9 seconds to 62 (kinda' slooow)
191 lb/ft of torque.
Will we have the option to buy one here in the states?

I'm not sure that's all accurate for the brands. I think VW is dropping theirs in the US before the emission standards change.
It's a simple matter of economics, that it's not profitable to alter the models to meet the new US (state) standards for the very low numbers they'd sell.

Besides, even if they did bring a diesel here, according to the magazine, the engine would not be the efficient one that's in Europe, anyway, since Peugeot doesn't market in the USA, and since it doesn't meet US emissions standards.
Get the magazine and read the article. It's very informative.
