Since my new MINI is due soon, I'm starting to think about ways to customize it. I can't stand chrome, so the first things for me to do would be to completely dechrome the car.

So, has anybody dechromed and/or color coded their roll bars in the MCSC? I was thinking that Chilli Red or White would look stellar on a CR/W convert with white stripes

P.S. I tried searching... I came up empty handed.

 

If it's anything like the MCC, the roll bar chrome is a snap-on piece that you can just snap off. It's gray plastic underneath.
