I just picked up a used deflector from ebay for $300 with s/h I should receive it in a week or so. I would recommend checking out ebay

Ebay is def. the way to go. I had read on another thread trying to find the cheapest places and Morristown Mini's Ebay store came up the best price for new. I just picked up mine in prep for those warmer days ahead.

Back to the topic. 40 F is how low for me. But I have to admit the heated seats and heater on the hands dares me to try lower temps.

On the CMMC Poker run on Sunday, the temp started out around 40F... I rolled the windows up and cranked up the heat... the sun definitely helped keep me warm also. One of the other Cabrios had the deflector and swears by it. Then again, he only takes his MCSC out when there's no chance of rain/snow or crappy weather in general. I don't have that luxury
