PuppetMaster2u, have you placed yourself on our Frappr Map? I didn't see a marker for you. If not, you can get there by clicking the link in my sig.

You need a orange door on your sig with a dent:lol:...... just j/k
Once the stop Making the color , i wonder what the toatl production number will be. Their seems to be alot of them on ebay, because they are a easy selling point.

Just about too late for a "dented" sig.

The damaged door has been replaced and they were going to start painting today. They are still waiting on some interior trim pieces, but they're just about finished with the repairs. One thing about repairing a MINI, it takes longer to get the parts than to do the repairs.

One thing we have noticed about the Hot Orange MINIs: all the Motoring Advisors we talked to (three dealers) said people were always VERY hesitant to order the color(looking at the color samples/literature in the dealership). However, if the dealership ordered one to put on their lot, it generally wouldn't be there more than a few days. We were the same way. We looked at the color in the sales brochures and hated it. Then we saw one at a dealership and fell in love with the color.

Funny when I ordered mine, they did not even have one, i knew in my head it would look good and when I built it online.

ditto! but I did think about other colors. I never slept with any of them but I did think about them. BRG, DSB, PH

alpinamike 09-20-2006 02:43 PM

Only other choice would have been Pepper White..

But it was off the color chart then untill people wanted it back...then it came in fact I saw one at the autoX I was at.
The flamanco orange would have been nice if they would have brought it to the US. It was shown on a hardtop.
Very bright orange.
I should have went for the orange seats too.

Mishka 09-26-2006 01:42 PM

Bumping back to the top and still looking for more Hot Orange MINIs!

BartMack, East central Indiana, here. Ordering mini in Dec. MCSc PW/G w/green leather seats. Don't see many pics of white, fewer white, never seen one with a green top. May get matching green "V" type bonnet stripe. What do you think?

Beaker 10-04-2006 08:30 AM

I love HO!

I ordered "Beaker" on the 17th, yeah!

Mishka 10-04-2006 04:25 PM

Welcome April! I like your choice of names for your MINI.

When is Beaker scheduled to arrive? Be sure to post pics when bring him home.

I see you have already placed yourself on our Frappr map.

PuppetMaster2u 10-04-2006 05:00 PM

Miska - I'm there :-) I'm the Batavia Ohio one (I just changed the name to match - it might take a minute for it to update)

Just wanted to be sure we were all present and accounted for.

alpinamike 10-04-2006 05:21 PM

I thought I was the only one with that combo

If that is a blue top , I don't see a chrome line ext. Chrome roll bars.
... I am still one of a kind:lol:

alpinamike 10-04-2006 05:24 PM

I am on the end

http://lh4.google.com/zodlfamily/RSD...JPG?imgmax=144The new seats from the auto show.
My pics above did not work

Beaker 10-05-2006 02:00 PM

Correct alpinamike,

I don't have the chrome, decided to stick with the white mirrors and wheels to match my stripes =)

I'm not sure when Beaker is going to be here yet, expecting mid-November

ImagoX 10-05-2006 02:05 PM

I dunno about those orange seats... I'd much prefer an orange accent color against black, like they have for the red leather ones, personally.

Welcome fellow HO-lovers.

Hmmm... "Ho Lovers"? That sounds... funky. :)
