Open it in pbrush (crappy graphics program that comes with Windows).

Then go to the edit menu, and the scale and shear, scale to 40% in each dimension, will make it 800 x 400 (and perserve aspect ratio).
Resave.
Upload etc...

The HO/Blue MINI your reffering to is the only HO/Blue Classic has sold, and it was one of last years loaners. I test drove that car!

I test drove it too. Almost drove it home that day, but $500.00 off for a car that ALMOST had what I wanted and was driven pretty hard for the 4000 miles it had on it just didn't seem worth it.

I don't think it had heated seats and had the FUGLY chrono pack:sad::sad::sad:

My car

Hey all,

I'll post pics soon. I've had my HO MCSC since 9/04, the first month of delivery. About 19000 miles now.

Anyway, I never saw another HO in town (Madison,WI) but another doctor at my hospital bought one!! So now there are 2 HO MCSC in my parking lot. Kind of a bummer.

Anyway, pics will be coming of my JCW MCSC with 18" wheels soon (not at my home computer right now).

Boy you don't drive much... I've had my car since May 05 and have over 22,000 miles. (70 miles round trip to work) There is discussion that they might close our office and have us all work virtual then the trip will be 20 steps.

kenatminimania 02-23-2006 10:51 AM

Count us in - my wife has a Orange / Blue MCc.

There is also another Orange / Black MCSc here in Grass Valley.

Well, I should have said that I don't drive the car in the winter, so those are April to October miles.:)

Much better. I don't have a winter beater. I will park the car (or rather my wife will park her car) during the summer so I can ride my BMW. I'm sure she'll drop the top all summer long (she's a teacher) while I put all my gear on to ride???

alpinamike 02-23-2006 01:39 PM

MINI of Pittsburgh sold a couple...

I think my was one of the first Blue top sold, i will have to check on that,
they also had one as someone put it together then bought something else, they still have it.

It had the chrono pac, that was the loaner they sold at Classic MINI in cleveland..

Does not supprise me no three month+ wait... but it had people in it before, i wanted mine brand new!!!

I will try to get my pics up here,
go ahead and post your BEST:thumbsup:

Pretty hard is an understatement. I smoked the tires across 615 on my way towards hopikins for the Classic test drive loop!

No heated seats,m but it did have the orange blue seats and it had the orange dash.

yes, it did have the fugly chrono pak too, thats what made me decide against it!

alpinamike 02-23-2006 05:16 PM

Yes i did not like the chrono

They sent most of the demos with that and i would have the speedo or the Nav, i would not spend the extra 500 on the chrono.

The demos are beat a bit, and they only do the 3 month extra warrenty here.

I love the orange/blue seats, but could not spend the extra money, i might get them down the road , but i lik the english leather interior on the parkland, I drove one, it was great:thumbsup:

We just got home from vacation and found this thread.

Count us in as HO/B MCC owners.

Had a funny thing happen just before leaving on vacation. I had gone to the travel agency for last minute plans, and as I was leaving I stopped at a stop sign. I looked to the left and "my car" was coming down the intersecting street!

Actually it was a MCSC, but other that different wheels and factory antenna, it was identical to my car. I waved at the driver, but I guess they weren't feeling friendly that day.

Where I live there are just a few MINI's(only two MINI's in my town), and other than mine, this was the only other HO MINI I had ever seen on the road.

alpinamike 02-24-2006 07:09 AM

I know how you feel,

The only other one i had near my town, was sold 3 months later, they only bought cars that came out, kind of people, then would sell them... not keeping a car more then 6 months.

I did see another one like mine, and they did wave, but it was because they could not believe their was another one,but again it was a MCSC and i am a MCC, they had a total diffirent HO.

I know of one other couple and they live two hours away,
and thats about it,

It is indeed a rare color...
most people do not wave and are quite old
Most kids cannot afford them let alone middle aged.

We need to frapper all the Orange People, like the yellow and blue have done.
Remember we are the smallest group.

Present! I love my HO/B MCC. I may be the only HO ATLMINI - not sure - but I like my car very very much!:)

kenatminimania 02-24-2006 08:03 AM

We wave to the other HO in town, but they never respond...

Too bad.

Dr Obnxs 02-24-2006 08:54 AM

When I bought my CR/W in 02...

I never saw another Mini at the same intersection (with the exception of near the dealer).

A few weeks ago, there were 4 (me and three others) minis coming down the hill I live on, commuting to work.

But I think the HO crowd will be a bit more rarified, as not as many of that color sell as others....

Matt

We came to a 4-way intersection in our small town of Grass Valley (pop 10K+) and had 3 MINIs entering from different directions. It was a definite kodak moment as we all laughed and waved to each other. (We were the only HO).

gailerickson in Sacramento

I got my h/o on Jan. 3 and am already up to 4,000 miles. Not alot of extras, just the heated seats, fog lights, h/k... but it's a blast. I was down in Santa Monica this past week, driving through Malibu and in the Santa Monica "mountains". Great top down weather!!

Mishka 02-25-2006 06:58 AM

I just started a Hot Orange Frappr map. Everyone please join in!!! I don't want to be all alone on the map.
