R52 Where are all the Hot Orange people??

My HO MINI just got to the US on Thursday. I won't be able to pick it up until mid March since I'm away on business until then, but I can't wait.
When I ordered mine I thought it was going to be a fun car it should be a fun color so it had to be HO. I'm getting an MCSC with black top and black bonnet stripes. I'll only have it for 3 day before I have to go out of town for another month or two so I will have the top down no matter what the temp. I wonder if I can get through the break in by the end of the 3 days!

Yeah, there are only two HO's in the club. That still doesn't sound right.
Cabrio's...um, I think there are 7? Two HO's, One Cool Blue, One Purple Haze, One Chili Red and Two PW's that I can think of. We have 473 bulletin board members but I haven't see any numbers for actual MINI owners. I've only been with the club since last summer so I haven't met every one yet. We do lots of club things.
We had the install party, a tech meet, a shine party (Zaino), bowling party and several impromptu drives through the North Georgia mountians for Feb. Dec was the Christmas Parade in downtown Atlanta. Jan was a mountain drive. I haven't seen anything for March yet but that can change in a heartbeat.
I call my MINI Icarus. There are more pics in my gallery.

I think it's in the attached. We have two. Thank goodness they are more fuel efficient than Boeing.

Dang, I won't be able to make that! I really wanted to join in the fun on that this year. I'll be at a great football game though. The Georgia Force AFL home game v. Tampa Bay Storm. Big division game and pay back time!
Now you know why I got the handle I got! Go Force!!!

New to the Orange Community
Ok, so I bought my first MINI last night after oogling at them for WAY too long.
I'm in love with it already... it was love at first site. HO with the chrome package, all the other packages as well except the convenience (don't have a garage door to open)
No stripes YET, but plan on getting one checkered chrome stripe from cooperflags.com
So glad to be part of the HO group

How many HO's here are Esses (S type)? It seems many of us opted for the non-supercharged version...
The wife made my decision for me. She couldn't justify the options for the price. I'd love the S but the $3500.00 more wasn't many options that we wanted (other than the supercharger). It's ok. (I'm still convincing myself of that)

Welcome Suzann! Your MINI looks like Gromit on the day we adopted him. He now has the stripes and is much happier. Be sure to post some pics of your MINI once you get the stripes. I would like to see how the checkered stripe looks on a HO car.
We went with the non-S, also. Part of the reason was the higher price, the other was the higher cost - my wife knew that with an S I wouldn't be able to afford gas because of all the tickets.
She is a very wise person.
