Have you guys removed the little clear cover that states "ask yourself is it really nessasary to close the top." I really think its cool and prolly only ment as a gimmick to be removed after purchase but my lovly wife hates it. Too many flips to open n close the top.

If you removed it how did you do it? I was thinking dental floss :impatient around the edges.

Also have any of you been brave enough to go into one of those touchless car washes I have been worried it may be too powerful and I would get a shower.

I've never used a car wash, but my little thing fell off...If you take yours off, I'll buy it from you!

My little "sticker cover" wasn't on very good so I was able to just pull it off. I think it looks pretty cool too but it got to be a pain taking it off and putting it back on every day...so I just have it (along with an extra) in my MINI goodies collection. I do think dental floss would work to get if off if yours is stuck on pretty good.

As far as the brushless car wash, I don't trust car washes period. I'd rather drive mine dirty until I have time to wash it...

It took me four years to save up the cash...and I wasn't planning on the cabrio, but I saved my last $$ in November, sat in a cabrio, and ordered on the spot.

I guess I got mine too early too. Didn't get the little cover. I've never took it to a brushless car wash. Do it yourself/wand in the winter. Driveway in warm weather.
