I cant seem to get the rear latch to work with the switch or the remote.I replace the solenoid and still nothing. The only way it actuates is by me directly giving it 12V at solenoid and the wiring in the rear hatch area. Is there something i'm missing? I even replaced the latch switch on the rear tail gate handle.

 

Need to trace your wires back into the body. The wires enter the trunk lid from the bottom center, do not know where they route from there but behind the driver side rear seat trim panel there is a series of wires and plugs. Would think the wire that leads to the gas cap lock also goes to the trunk.
