If you have a mechanical or electrical problem with your MINI, each model/generation has their own specific section and under each section the proper location for a mechanical/electrical/issues would be:

STOCK PROBLEMS OR ISSUES.

Not General MINI talk or Hatch Talk or Cabrio Talk.

I prefer not to delete these as they come up so members can solve these issues, but its really getting to that point.....

I am new to Mini's as I just picked up an '05 Cabrio. The car has issues with the operation of the convertible top. I have found a lot of good information here for sure. As I am researching repairs for the convertible top I noticed that they are mixed in with the general repairs (as you have requested - or moved). These tops seem to be finicky and complex - I was curious if there could be a sub-forum in the cabrio forum for repairs specifically for the roof only. I have spent several hours trying various searches to find any cabrio top repairs with minimal results. The only repair threads I did find were links others had posted in the cabrio section in effort to help someone out.

Thank you for time in maintaining the forum! It is appreciated more than you realize.
