Will not work if sitting in seat. Works fine with seat empty.

Worked fine before but now not even any resistance as if the handle isn't connected to anything, but when seat empty everything seems to engage fine.

Any suggestions other than adjust before you sit?

 

You have to pump the seat up and down pretty hard ? Did you test and compare to the other side.

 

It was working prior so I am aware of how it should feel It doesn't seem to catch when you pump. But if you get off of the seat it works fine.

 

Are you too heavy?

Hit the gear on the bottom seat with some free all or oil. It might be binding under any weight.
