No worries, the tape tightened the scuttles so they don't rattle which they did and was very annoying, especially when one rattled itself out.
Only chassis I ever saw that had NO flex was a blacksmith's anvil. Start adding parts to anything and something's gonna move regardless.

A lot of the road noise can be managed by tires... I have had some that were so loud I was quick to swap for something different.

I'm not going to recommend any brand of tire, because like speakers the sound produced needs only impress the one that is listening to them all the time.

Someone once said I like women like I like my R52, topless and fun in the curves.

Motor on!
