I know this isn't Cabrio specific, but I have my hood opened and there's a reservoir to the right (drivers side) of the coolant bottle that has a cap marked "CHF-11S only" I think it's the PS reservoir but the owners manual ignores it when describing the under hood area. There is a tube going down from it somewhere and it does have a dipstick. The level is low and I'd like to fill it but I don't want to put the wrong product in there. And since it's low it might explain why I am finding small drips on the ground wherever I park. Coolant and engine oil levels are fine. It's the one with the green ring on the cap

 

Sort of answered my own question. I googled the CHF-11S and found out what it was. I had a container of it from when I owned a Jag XK8 and needed to refresh the hydraulic fluid for the top so I filled the tank on the Mini. However, I still wonder what that reservoir is for.

 

Yes that is PS reservoir. Yes you have to use CHF-11S only. Sounds like the clamps on the reservoir hose are shot. They are not easy to get at but not impossible. I had same problem. Changed mine out while had the subframe out doing tie rods, ball joints and control arm bushings. the tube goes down to the power steering thats attached to the subframe.
